OUTFIT A DAY // A FASHION PLANNER {review}

Hi, all!

How's the weather on your side of the world? In Perth it's almost too hot to function - ugh! I can't wait until autumn. :) Today I'm going to review one of my favourite things ever. This is my first review, so I hope you enjoy!

For Christmas, my gorgeous little sister, Elsie, gave me a book called Outfit a Day // The Fashion Planner, by Tamara Daniel. It's a fashion journal, where you can record your favourite outfits, or design some of you own. Next to each of the outfits you draw, it has a space for you to include many details about the outfit, like the date, a description and the weather. This feature is one of my favourites out of the whole book - it's so clever!

The Fashion Planner also gives you many great fashion tips, including essential pieces for each season, and how to style classic items to create multiple looks. It even has a checklist at the back so you can write down all the pieces you want to buy, and so that you can check them off as you go - because a girl can never have too many clothes!

One of my favourite things about this planner is that every 10 or so outfits that you plan/draw, there is a small quote about either fashion or style. Here are two that I like and think you might too:

"Style is a way to say who you are without having to speak." - Rachel Zoe
"Fashion is all about happiness. It's fun. It's important." - Donatella Versace

This fashion journal is definitely one of the most useful things I have ever received. I have already drawn over 5 outfits, and my wishlist is expanding rapidly! I don't know whether that's a good thing or not... ahaha. I actually love this book so much that sometimes I carry it around with me in case I have inspiration for an outfit... thanks so much, Elsie! Luv ya :)
